Hi, I'm Kirsty and I'm a marketing and communications specialist with a passion for developing bold and effective projects,  having spent almost 20 years in the media, marketing and communications industries.

 

I'm Franc by name and frank by nature. I'm a straight shooter and I'm all about cutting through the white noise and confusion that often surrounds social media, PR and marketing.

 

I've helped businesses and non-profits, both in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, kick start their social media presence, target limited resources and create highly-engaged online communities. I have presented as a marketing and online specialist at lots of different workshops and industry events including the Fundraising Institute of Australia, Connecting Up and Interactive Minds Brisbane.

I started my career as a broadcast journalist in Sydney on the Gold Coast, before specialising in communications, marketing and public relations. I've worked for commercial, government and not-for-profit organisations across varipus sectors inlcuding tourism and corporate business, including travel company Wotif.com, the Queensland Police Service, RACQ CareFlight Rescue (Now LifeFlight), Alzheimer's Australia and MetaSport Singapore. I've managed communciations strategies for large online communities of more than 150,000.
